TMMDI Top Ten of 2012

So 2012 was a good year for movies about cults (Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene didn't quite make the cut) Zom-coms (Cockneys VS Zombies deserves an honourable mention) and the long awaited return to prominence of the mighty Hammer productions. Some of these movies have already been reviewed, some are yet to be reviewed, but for now here's the best of 2012!

1. Sightseers

2. The Dark Knight Rises

3. Looper

4. Shame

5. The Woman in Black

6. The Master

7. Harold's Going Stiff

8. Sound of my Voice

9. Killer Joe

10. Take This Waltz

Did you have a favourite film in 2012 that isn't here? Which of these movies was your favourite last year?

They Made Me Do It...Again!

"When there's no more room in hell, the movie blogs will walk the Internet"...ok, a tenuous pun on a classic horror tagline but it's true!....They Made Me Do It Movie Blog is back!!

After a year off the time has come for me to scratch that itch once again and since I never stopped writing reviews in my head it is time for me to shoot my mouth off and have my say on everything Horror, B-Movie, Cult and Exploitation and even some movies that aren't. The blog will still focus on contemporary movies whilst continuing the features "rare imports", "it...came from the 50s", "movie b badd" and "superior remakes" for the older films.

As well as these established features there will also be the all new "they made me do it again! July 12-July 13" feature to cover the films that came out during my sabbatical on which i still have a lot to say. Speaking of which, I'm going to make my first return feature my top 10 of 2012 and give you an idea of what kind of reviews might be included in that feature.

I hope you're all still out there (and look forward to reaching many new fans) and thank you for your continued support and welcome...to They Made Me Do It 2.0!

Ashley

P.S as well as a lick of fresh paint for the blog there's also a brand new facebook page available for you to follow which you can like in the sidebar
